Police arrest pastor who accused Okorocha of running kidnapping cartel

A Pentecostal church pastor, Chukwuma Okezue, has been arrested by the police in Imo State for allegedly accusing the Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha of recruiting adolescents and initiating them into kidnapping business and arming them against the people.
 Parading the man before journalists on Tuesday in Owerri, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Andrew Enwerem, a Superintendent of Police (SP), accused Okezue of defamatory, feeding members of his congregation with falsehood against the governor.
Enwerem, said the action of the cleric was capable of causing disharmony, hatred and disaffection by the people against Okorocha, disclosing that the suspect would face the law accordingly.
He warned other religious leaders against using their position to mount the pulpit or crusade ground to spread falsehood against the governor.
